One of such children is born to a woman; to give her daughter a chance at a normal life and save her from her destiny, she hands the child over to a Christian priest.
15 years later the child, Tatu is a nun in training who sneaks out at night to party, she meets a man in the process, and he falls in love with her. As her 21st birthday approaches pressure is mounted on her mother to produce the child. The chief priest sends her appointed protector after her.
The girl is taken, the Christian priest and her love interest go to her rescue, and the man sent after her turns on the chief priest and overthrows him. She is set free.

 THE GOOD:
From the first scene I was captivated by the picture quality and choice of shots. It is safe to say that the director of photography and director deserve some accolades for this one 👏. This movie shows our potential. Watching this, it is not hard to imagine that in the nearest future Nollywood would be at par with every other movie industry in the world.
The location choices are also a plus, so is the casting. The special effects and the entire ambience of the movie is spot on.
Well done to the entire crew that worked on this project. Gaffer if you are reading this, you did a great job 👌👍

THE BAD:
After watching this movie I feel forced to find the book it was based on, I do not want to believe that the author published a book with such a disjointed baseless story, perhaps the story was lost in translation.
First, finding the appropriate genre placement for this movie was hard; that is how bad it is, it is unclear what the writer wants us to feel, is this a comedy? Are we to feel compassion? Or fear?
At moments you are to feel fear or deep compassion they add some meaningless misplaced comedy. Most scenes build-up to something that ever happens leaving you feeling confused.
The accent, especially from the ‘Mother superior’ destroys whatever seriousness or emotions her lines are supposed to elicit.
The acting from the lead actress is poor, she was unable to shed a single genuine tear all through the movie,  it is hard to believe anything she says, combined with the terrible misplaced comedy it is just a bad situation going on here.
I admit I fell asleep twice watching this movie, waiting for the thrilling moment that never came.
The audio effect on Segun Arinze’s voice was a huge distraction from the very beginning 😕, extremely unnecessary and unrealistic. Most of his scenes involve him chanting ‘Kamani’ in this weird voice and playing with fire.
Watching this you are also forced to wonder if this ancient society is down the road from the city; that quite frankly makes no sense.
Fight scene of the chief priest and ‘Kamani’ was terrible.
Finally is there any reason why the baby was born in a hut when the girl was free and the city was just a car ride away?

VERDICT:
Great cinematography, props, set, make-up, costumes, locations and special effects but the movie was boring and over dramatized. Money should have been spent on a proper story 😞; this was disjointed and had too many mixed messages.
